Sugarloaf turquoise and diamond cluster ring

Turquoise has been used throughout history in numerous different ways. Its striking and vibrant colour gives the impression of tranquillity and calm. It was used in palaces as it symbolises heaven on earth. A truly magnificent stone.

This vintage ring is a beautiful example of turquoise from the 1930s. The sugarloaf turquoise is surrounded by a row of diamonds giving this piece some sparkle and adding to its alluring presence. With a diamond balancing each side we continue down onto the 18kt gold band. The claws encompassing the turquoise is what really draws the eye in. It gives such contrast between the yellow of the gold and the vibrancy of the blue.

At Courtville we specialise in unusual gemstone rings and vintage rings and this is available online or in our store in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
