Colombian emerald and diamond ring c.1910

Description

From just after the turn of the century this Edwardian emerald and diamond ring is a beautiful ring from a different era.

The value of an emerald is largely derived from it’s colour. This one is the most amazing vivid green colour and is set in a gold bezel. The contrast of the gold and the green is quite strong and this makes it very eye-catching.

Surrounding the emerald are old brilliant cut diamonds and it is all set in platinum.
