2.2ct antique cushion cut diamond five stone ring

Description

Five stones are great options to wear as everyday rings, especially when they are set with diamonds. They make great right hand rings or are a fantastic example of an alternative style engagement ring.

This one is set with antique cushion cut diamonds which have a fantastic sparkle to them. These cushion cuts are what is termed “Free cuts” they do not follow any prescribed format. Each one is individual and each one has it’s own characteristics. Which is what makes this piece even more special is that the five diamonds although individual are close enough to match, playing off each others characteristics. They weigh in total an estimated 2.2cts and are G/H in colour and VS in clarity.

This ring is from c.1895 and is a fantastic example of a Victorian diamond five stone ring.
