Diamond and emerald square calibré ring with 0.9ct centre stone

The angles, the mixed cuts, the mix of gems, the geometric patterns – all very typical of the art deco period and are captured magnificently in this mid century are deco style ring.

The central diamond is an antique round brilliant cut diamond est. as 0.9cts, I/J in colour and VS in clarity. Such an unusual cut of a stone with a small table on the top and steep sides which give a terrific fire to the stone. Modern round brilliants are super stones but this old brilliant cut is just so special and different. The culet is polished off too, to further add to the uniqueness of the gem.

The surrounding emeralds are bright green square cuts and the whole ring itself is curved to give a comfortable wear ability to the piece.

Set in platinum this is a ring for someone who is looking for an unusual, once off piece that is a bit edgy !
