So many features of this ring are so lovable and isn’t that what is all about ? – you must love your jewellery !
The hand carved detail on the shoulders which leads up to the outer diamonds is exquisitely done and the rubies are extremely bright red rubies with a pink undertone. Four diamonds set off the rubies and these are round cut with one at either end and two in the middle.
Not all old rings have the date letter stamped on them, this letter always you to know what year they were hallmarked. It is not uncommon for them to not be marked but it is just extra special when you know that this ring was hallmarked in 1908 in Birmingham, a real jewellery centre in the north of England. Birmingham is still home to many skilled craftspeople and produces some of the best jewellery around.
This is a gorgeous vintage ring and could be used as a ruby and diamond dress ring or a vintage engagement ring
