1920’s Art deco, 1.12ct Diamond ring set in platinum

The 20’s was a great time for jewellery. Platinum was being used more and more in jewellery and the hardness of the material meant that incredible detail could be engraved into rings and other jewellery. Also the joy and atmosphere of the 20’s is often captured in the jewellery. Different cuts of stones mixed together and bold designs were used to create wonderful jewellery.

This ring has all of these factors. The engraved detail on the band is so crisp and intricate. Round cut diamonds on the shoulders flank the central stone which is marquis shaped. This marquis cut diamond is beautifully proportioned and is 1.12cts, F colour and VS2 Clarity.
